Debate: AI Agents Will / Will Not Transform Retail

AI- assisted and influenced shopping is growing fast, but it remains unclear just how much shoppers will embrace agentic commerce, letting bots actually make purchase decisions and complete transactions on their behalf. This session will feature teams of two arguing for and against an agentic shopping future. Speakers will debate:
• What is the definition of agentic shopping?
• What will motivate (or dissuade) shoppers as bots grow better and more helpful?
• Which retail categories are most ripe for agentic disruption?
