Ethan Goodman

President Profitero

Ethan is a distinguished marketing strategist with deep expertise in Retail Media and E-Commerce. He has been named a "Young Influential" by Adweek and a "40 Under 40" by the Path to Purchase Institute; is a member of the IAB Commerce Board of Directors and Instacart Advisory Council; and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and contributor to industry publications. In his current roles as President of Profitero+, President Digital Commerce at Publicis Commerce and EVP Digital Commerce at Mars United Commerce - all business units within Publicis Groupe - he leads teams that are laser-focused on helping brands navigate and drive growth within the constantly-evolving Digital Commerce landscape. Prior to that he built, grew and managed Mars' Commerce Media, E-Commerce and Innovation practice groups; and guided the team that created SmartAisle (the world's first voice-powered shopping assistant for brick & mortar retailers). He was also Managing Director of Mars Ventures, the agency's venture capital arm that invested in and partnered with promising "MarTech" startups to bring bleeding-edge innovation to key clients. Through this work he built deep relationships in the startup community (with investors, accelerators, etc.), and still serves as a mentor/advisor to organizations like the Zell Lurie Commercialization Fund at the University of Michigan. Additionally, he spent 4 years in the Digital Strategy group at Leo Burnett and Arc Worldwide (also Publicis Groupe agencies), devising and implementing breakthrough, results-driving digital programs for various Fortune 100 clients. He is a proud graduate of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan (BBA '05), a devout Michigan Football fan (2023 National Champions!) and an avid skier. He currently resides in Ann Arbor, MI, with his wife Jodi, sons Micah & Cameron, and Goldendoodle Maizey.
