Heather Mitchell is the Senior Vice President of Growth Partnerships at Shipt. Shipt is a retail tech company that connects people to reliable, high-quality delivery with a personal touch. Through the power of technology, Shipt connects customers to the things they want through a marketplace of more than 100+ national and local retailers and is available to 80% of US households. Heather leads Shipt’s new business development, retailer and strategic partnerships, and Shipt Media Teams.

Heather joined Shipt post the company’s acquisition by Target, led the initial development of the Finance Organization and most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Finance focused on driving the company’s profitable growth aspirations. Prior to Shipt, Heather spent more than a decade with Target Corporation where she brought teams together to create innovative approaches to emerging growth opportunities, build data-driven strategies, design executable financial plans, manage risk, and reduce operational complexity. Before Target, Heather worked in the areas of corporate, criminal, and patent law.

Heather is a proud alumni of the University of Alabama holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and a Master’s Degree in Economics. Heather also holds a Juris Doctorate and Graduate Certificates in Corporate Finance and Computer Security. She is a licensed attorney and active member of the American Bar Association. She is also a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and former President of the University of Alabama’s ACM Chapter.

Heather leverages her diverse skill set to advise technology start-up companies and non-profit organizations. Heather is married (Joe) with one daughter (Audrey) and currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama.
