Raj Balasundaram is the Founder and CEO of Bayezon AI, the world’s first Agentic Commerce Platform, designed to automate the entire online shopping journey—from discovery and decision-making to checkout and post-purchase support. Raj brings more than a decade of hands-on experience building AI systems that operate at enterprise scale. He has delivered AI platforms for global commerce and CX leaders including Emarsys and Verint, where his work focused on real-time personalization, decision intelligence, and AI-driven customer engagement across high-traffic retail environments. In addition to his industry work, Raj has been invited to speak at TED Talks and executive forums on the practical application of AI in commerce, with a reputation for cutting through hype and focusing on what actually works in production. At Bayezon AI, Raj is solving a critical gap in modern retail: shoppers increasingly arrive from ChatGPT and AI-powered search with clear intent, yet still encounter static PLPs, filters, and rule-based chatbots.
