Co-Founder & CEO Burq

Salman Habib is the Co-founder & CEO of Burq, a last-mile logistics platform building scalable delivery infrastructure for some of the largest and fastest-growing companies. Under his leadership, Burq now processes over $500M worth of items annually and was recognized by Fast Company as one of the Best Workplaces for Innovators in 2025. Salman was also named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, listed among Boston’s top tech influencers by BostInno, and recognized as Cambridge’s most inspiring founder by Boston Voyager.

Before founding Burq, Salman served as CEO of Hellofriend, where he led the company’s growth and expansion. His experience extends beyond startups—he previously worked at the United Nations and the U.S. Senate, applying his expertise in policy, global strategy, and operational execution. He also conducted research at Harvard Kennedy School, focusing on nuclear policy and international affairs.

Salman is passionate about technology, entrepreneurship, and shaping the future of business. He is a graduate of Harvard University.
