Jennifer Shawgo is Senior Director, Technology Strategy & Programs at FMI, The Food Industry Association. She leads FMI’s technology practice, advancing responsible digital transformation across the food retail sector. Her work brings together retailers, wholesalers, suppliers, and solution providers through programs, partnerships, and member engagement that connect technology strategy to operational outcomes and better shopper experiences.
Jennifer brings over two decades of cross-sector experience spanning grocery distribution, high-growth grocery technology startups, and association leadership. She translates complex shifts in artificial intelligence, digital commerce, and retail media into actionable strategies and toolkits leaders can use. She also brings a change management lens to modernization efforts, helping organizations align stakeholders, evolve ways of working, and drive adoption so technology investments deliver lasting impact.
Jennifer holds a B.S. in Organizational Behavior and Leadership from the University of San Francisco and completed executive education in change leadership and executive leadership through Cornell University.
