Lei Duran is a seasoned retail executive with more than 20 years of experience leading marketing, merchandising, and media strategy across some of the world’s most recognized retailers. As Senior Vice President of Marketing at Lowes Foods, she leads an exceptional team responsible for marketing strategy, loyalty, media, operations, and go-to-market activation—bringing together brand storytelling, performance, and community connection to fuel growth across the Alex Lee portfolio.
Prior to joining Lowes Foods, Lei served as Vice President of Retail Media and Media Strategy at Lowe’s Home Improvement, where she modernized the company’s media approach and relaunched the Lowe’s Retail Media Network, scaling it into a key growth engine. Her leadership—and the talented teams she built—were instrumental in evolving the brand’s go-to-market strategy, aligning merchandising, marketing, and digital experience to deliver record-breaking results.
Earlier in her career, Lei held senior roles at Walmart, Kantar, and WPP’s Geometry, where she led multibillion-dollar P&Ls as a merchant, developed shopper insights and omnichannel activations, and guided high-performing teams in creating award-winning campaigns for global brands including Unilever, Coca-Cola, and Purina.
Known for blending human insight, data-driven strategy, and commercial acumen, Lei brings both heart and rigor to her leadership. She believes the most powerful brands—and teams—don’t just sell products; they build belonging through meaningful experiences that spark connection and joy.
