Lisa Horton is Chief Communications and Creative Officer at David’s Bridal, where she leads brand strategy, owned marketing, social media, PR & communications, and creative direction. She is responsible for shaping the company’s voice and vision, driving innovation, and connecting with modern consumers through storytelling, culture, and brand experience. In this role, Lisa oversees all communications and creative output to ensure alignment with business objectives, protect and grow brand reputation, and deliver meaningful engagement across Gen Z and Millennial audiences.
With more than 15 years of experience, Lisa is recognized for her ability to build brands, guide companies through transformative milestones, and tie communications directly to business results. At David’s Bridal, she has led efforts around an acquisition, the launch of a retail media network, C-suite transitions, and high-profile designer collaborations, including Marchesa and Vera Wang.
Lisa previously served as President of ASTRSK PR, where she spent nearly a decade overseeing PR for clients ranging from early-stage startups to unicorns and publicly traded companies across consumer tech, fintech, proptech, health tech, entertainment/media, retail, e-commerce, and lifestyle industries. She developed and executed creative, business-driven communications strategies spanning media relations, thought leadership, crisis comms, brand positioning, event activations, influencer and celebrity partnerships, and more for disruptive brands like Prime Video, Lemonade (IPO), Match Group, Misfits Market, and Industrious. An award-winning expert in crisis comms, investor relations, IPO/SPAC processes, and high-impact brand activations, she has orchestrated major efforts for Amazon Prime Video, A24, and more.
Throughout her career, Lisa has handled communications for 1000+ funding rounds, multiple IPOs and SPACs, acquisitions, and 300+ company and product launches. She has cultivated deep media relationships, securing coverage in outlets including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Fast Company, TechCrunch, WIRED, Glamour, GQ, Bustle, Refinery29, and CNN.
